Our interactive practical and theory-based equestrian learning is a fantastic way to deepen your understanding of these magnificent animals and how to care for them. Learning about their anatomy, behaviour, and basic health care needs, delving into the theoretical aspects of horse care, including nutrition, training techniques, and common illnesses, can further enhance your knowledge and skills in providing proper care for them. By combining both practical experience and theoretical knowledge, you can become a well-rounded and competent horse person.

Group lessons

Ran on a regular basis over Saturdays & Sundays

Group lessons offer a fun and social way to learn the basics of riding, improve your skills, and connect with other riders. starting from £120 for a block of lessons, it's a cost-effective way to get started on your riding journey. Maximum of 8 riders in a group.

Private & Semi-Private Lessons

Perfect for riders wanting to work on specific goals, adults seeking to retake the reins, groups of friends or Special Education Needs (SEN) children needing more concentration & time.

Our private and semi-private lessons offer personalized instruction tailored to the individual needs and goals of the rider. In a private lesson, riders receive one-on-one attention from the instructor, allowing for focused learning and feedback. On the other hand, semi-private lessons involve a small group (2-3) of riders, offering a balance between individualized attention and the opportunity for interaction with peers.

Equine Assisted Therapy

Equine-assisted therapy sessions offer a unique and effective approach to therapy by incorporating interactions with horses. These 1-1 on the ground sessions can include activities such as basic grooming and care for the horse, as well as handling and leading exercises that aim to build confidence and trust. Horses have a special ability to mirror human emotions and provide immediate feedback, making them valuable partners in therapeutic settings. Through these sessions, individuals can develop important life skills, improve self-awareness, and strengthen emotional well-being in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

Experience the joy of owning your very own pony with our exciting Own a Pony days! From learning how to catch and lead your ponies, to mastering the art of grooming and tacking up, as well as enjoying riding and stable management sessions, this experience is perfect for anyone who has always dreamed of having a pony of their own. Join us for a day filled with fun, learning, and unforgettable memories with these beautiful creatures.

Please note we are a small business and it is not always possible for us to answer the phone, so leaving a message with your enquiry is the best way to get hold of us. During peak times please allow up to 24-48 hrs for us to get back to you, last minute bookings are possible at times but may incur an additional fee.

All bookings are prebooked, they must be secured with payment from 24 hours of the booking being made. Any bookings not paid for within 24 hours will automatically be cancelled. Read our full terms & conditions.

Terms & Conditions

When making a booking you have agreed to read, understand & abide by our Booking, cancellation & extreme weather policy, rider code of conduct & yard rules at all times. All bookings require payment to secure & 48 hrs cancellation notice. We do not offer refunds but may be able to transfer your booking instead. A rider registration form will need to be filled in & signed prior to riding.
